Music Ministries

Music is central to our worship. There is a place for everyone to 'make a joyful noise'.

Choir

The choir is active September through May with practice every Thursday at 9:00 AM in the sanctuary. The choir participates in worship each Sunday. The Choir also provides seasonal concerts.

Handbells

The bell choir often participates in worship and in seasonal concerts. Three octaves of Malmark bells provide the beautiful sound for this choir. All skill levels are welcomed.

Yachats Music Festival

For 37 years, on the second week-end in July, the musicians of California-based Four Seasons Concerts, provided a Classical Music Festival in our Sanctuary that would be right at home in Carnegie Hall. In fact, this group has often performed at locations such as Carnegie Hall, and The Metropolitan Opera House.  2017 was "The Grande Finale" of this amazing festival.  We hope to find some way to continue the legacy of music at the "Church of The Agate Windows," the second week-end in July, in the coming years

Organ Meditation

A YCPC member provides a time of meditative music on the organ. Watch the calendar for scheduled times.

Instruments

The church's music program is enhanced by the three manual Rogers 927 Trillium organ and a 6'10 Yamaha Grand piano.
